Randy Piper of Goodlettsville is free on $25,000 bond.
The 47-year-old Piper was indicted last January after liquor officials in Tennessee seized 2,400 bottles in October following a tip that someone was selling alcohol without a license.
They raided two warehouses owned by Piper and a home in Lynchburg, the small town about 65 miles southeast of Nashville where the Tennessee sipping whiskey is distilled.
Jack Daniel's is owned by Louisville, Ky.-based Brown-Forman Corp.
Piper, a plumber, has said he's a collector of Jack Daniel's bottles. The confiscated whiskey is stored in an Alcoholic Beverage
Commission vault in Nashville until the case is resolved. Trixie Harrison, a spokeswoman for Moore County circuit court, said Monday the trial date was set Friday. Dec. 12 is the cutoff for a plea.
